Global planning

This is a guide line for the planning of the BAPC. The most important things to do are included with a time indication of when to start.

First of all you need to arrange a committee that will organise the BAPC. The committee is adviced to have 6 members: Char(man/women), Secretary, Treasurer, Officer external affairs, Commissar promotion and Officer internal affairs).

Second thing to do is fix a date for the BAPC. You do not want this date to be less than 4 weeks appart from the NWERC.

When this is done your global planning should look something like this:

  • Februari - Setup the committee
  • March - Start to search for sponsors
  • May - Search for a location for the contest (Universities rooms are boked far in advance)
  • May - Get the website up-to-date
  • May - Contact all participating universities
  • May - Create an up-to-date logo
  • July - Create an attractive poster and send it to the participating universities
  • July - Finish the programm booklet for the contest
  • August - Start writing the script for the dayplan
  • September - Send the programm booklet to the printer
  • September - Obtain ICPC login information
  • September - Arrange your own preliminary
  • Oktober - Preliminary has to take place (not to close to the BAPC preferably 2-3 weeks)
  • Oktober - Advance all the team/contestants in the ICPC system
  • Oktober/November - The BAPC
